Mother's Morning Out

Benton Heights Presbyterian Church (BHPC) welcomes all of God’s children and is dedicated to providing a spiritual, safe and nurturing environment to all that take part in our programs.

Our staff is committed to your child’s growth through music, Bible stories, crafts and play.

Schedule and Rates:

Beginning in September of each year - Mother's Morning Out is currently offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Children ages 6 months and up are welcome to join at any time!

Registration fee:
$ 15.00 (non-refundable)


Monthly fee:
$ 70.00 per month or $190.00 for 3 months prepaid

Mother's Morning Out follows the same holiday/inclement weather schedule as Union County schools.

Drop-off and Pick-up:

Our day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m. Since all doors to the building are locked, we will welcome you and your child at the rear entrance of the church. For the safety of the children, our doors will be open from 8:55 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and will be locked again until pick-up time at 11:50 p.m.

To ensure prompt pick-up there is a late charge for any child picked up after 12:10 p.m. The charge is .50 a minute for the first five minutes and $1 minute for each minute after 12:15. If you are unable to get here on time call ahead and let us know. In most cases, this will waive the late charge.

Things to Bring for Babies:

  • Diaper Bag: 3 disposable diapers and wipes, a change of clothes, any security item, sunscreen, diaper ointment.
  • Snack: Bottles and food with spoon and bib. Please label food jars and bottles.

Things to Bring for Children:

  • Snack: Finger foods and drinks will be provided. If you prefer to bring snacks/drinks for your child please label them.
  • Clothes: Underwear, pants, shirt and socks to stay at school in case they are needed.

Health Policy:

If your child is sick, please keep him/her home. Sickness would include any fever in the past 24 hours, diarrhea, congestion, thick mucus in the nose, or any indication of illness. These would be reasons for your child to stay home. If your child contracts any contagious disease, please inform the caregiver so we can inform other parents.

Appropriate Attire:

Girl with Teddy Bear Please dress your child in play clothes and in clothes that are easy for them to remove when they need to use the bathroom. We also recommend that outer garments be labeled with your child’s name. In addition, shoes should be comfortable, a good fit and rubber soled or non-slip.

Safety:

In the event that someone other than yourself is picking your child up, our staff needs to know who that person will be. NO child will be released to anyone without prior notification and proper Identification from the individual retrieving your child.
